Sharknado 4: The Fourth Awakens will be released this Sunday (July 31st) in the U.S & August 2nd in UK and I must admit I’m pretty excited. So to celebrate the release of Sharknado 4 I’ve decided to create this movie list for you B-horror film fans and Sharknado lovers.

In all honesty these films are awful, but they are so bad that they are good and that’s why I love them. Horrific CGI creatures doing impossible stunts, silly dialogue and unoriginal characters all mixed together to create an extremely over the top horror film which will make you laugh so hard.

So, here are 14 crazy, ridiculous, hilarious and awful horror films you should watch if you love Sharknado.

Zombeavers

A fun weekend turns into madness and horror for a bunch of groupies looking for fun in a beaver infested swamp. Zombeavers is so silly; the characters and the dialogue are just ridiculous. The film is so bad that it will make you laugh so much, making it an entertaining watch.

Lavalantula

A movie sharknado fans will love, even Ian Ziering from Sharknado makes a cameo in this film. Volcanic eruptions in Los Angeles unleash a swarm of gigantic, lava-breathing tarantulas. The cast of police academy will team up to save the whole of Los Angeles in this fun, over the top and wacky b-horror.

Mega Python vs Gatoroid

There’s a crisis in the Florida Everglades as giant pythons are threatening the alligator population. To solve this problem, a massive Alligator is created to face-off with the Python. But the Python and Gatoroid aren’t the only ones facing off; make sure to catch the Dr Nikki Reed and Tara O’Hara showdown and my favourite scene in this film the Mega Python eating a whole train!

2 Headed Shark Attack

What’s scarier than a shark? A shark with two heads. 2 headed shark attack is like any other shark movie, except with twice the teeth! With Carmen Electra as a doctor, a sinking island and a two headed shark, this movie is definitely over the top.

Sand Sharks

In a shark film if you stay out of the water you are safe… Right? But not in Sand Shark, this shark has the ability to swim through sand which gives it the opportunity to terrorise the whole tropical paradise. To be honest, I’m not even sure if there’s a plot in this film, but who cares just watching a bunch of people at a party get munched on is really fun.

Dinocroc vs Supergator

No-one is safe as Dinocroc and Supergator escape a secret island laboratory and wreak havoc across the entire island. The only way to stop them is have them fight against each in the battle of the horrendous CGI creatures. Watch as characters with no chemistry fall in love while planning how to get the Dinocroc and Supergator to battle it out.

Piranhacona

A popular concept in b-horror films are to mix two scary creatures to form an even scarier hybrid, in this case we have piranhaconda. Half piranha and half anaconda, in case you didn’t get it. A film crew and some actors are in the jungle making a b-horror film while two angry piranhancondas terrorise their set and the whole jungle in search of their stolen eggs.

Sharktopus

After being engineered as a military weapon, sharktopus escapes. Sharp teeth and long tentacles, what a terrifying mix! The beach has never been such a scary place until Sharktopus arrives, to do what it does best; wreak havoc. After watching Sharktopus make sure to watch its even crazier sequels Sharktopus Vs ptercuda & Sharktopus Vs Whalewolf.

Infestation

A slacker awakes to find himself weak and wrapped in a webbing; after realizing that the world has been taken over by giant alien insects, he wakes a group of strangers and together they fight for survival. Infestation is a comedy-horror which is actually quite funny but still absolutely ridiculous.

Jersey Shore Shark Attack

New Jersey’s beach is under a shark attack, but who will save them, the army, the marine or the avengers? No, the cast of Jersey Shore is here to the rescue! Equipped with spray tan, bulging biceps, hair spray and shotguns they will work together to take out a bunch of sharks in the silliest ways possible. Jersey shore shark attack is a funny and entertaining self-parody which Sharknado fans should enjoy.

Arachnoquake

The people of New Orleans must stand together against horribly CGI fire-breathing spiders which crawl out from the ground. Filled with witty remarks, funny characters and crazy scenes, Arachnoquake is an entertainingly bad movie.

Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus

The California coast is terrorized by two enormous prehistoric sea creatures as they battle each other for supremacy of the sea. Who needs a plot when you have the biggest and baddest sea creatures going toe to toe, um… I mean fin to tentacle. Mega Shark Vs Giant Octopus is just a load of dumb fun and is filled with ridiculous stunts which are guaranteed to have you laugh out loud.

Ice Spiders

A group of young Olympic skiers and retired professional skier are targeted by genetically altered spiders which have escaped from a nearby laboratory. The skiers must fend themselves from the gigantic green spiders, while still having time to show off their ski stunts. In this entertaining film spiders get run over by ski jets, stabbed by ski poles and pierced by mounted deer head.

Dragon Wasps

A scientist enlists the help of the US army to investigate the mysterious disappearance of her father, deep in the Belizean jungle. Caught in the crossfire between a brutal guerrilla army controlled by a mystical warlord, they are also confronted by an even bigger terror giant mutated blood-thirsty, fire-breathing wasps.
