Four denizens in the world of high-finance predict the credit and housing bubble collapse of the mid-2000s, and decide to take on the big banks for their greed and lack of foresight. The Big Short does a superb job of telling this complicated story, in an interesting and clear fashion. With a great cast, witty script and some cool celebrity cameos, The Big Short is worthwhile.

It’s an inspiring, motivating & uplifting film which stars Hugh Jack & Taron Egerton who did great jobs portraying their character.

We Need to Talk About Kevin

Kevin’s mother struggles to love her strange child, despite the increasingly vicious things he says and does as he grows up. But Kevin is just getting started, and his final act will be beyond anything anyone imagined. We Need To Talk about Kevin is a dark drama that focuses on the troubled character, Kevin. It’s pretty disturbing and depressing, however it is a very interesting character study which deserves a watch.

Inspired by a true story, a comedy centered on a 27-year-old guy who learns of his cancer diagnosis, and his subsequent struggle to beat the disease. 50/50 is a brilliant movie which stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt who gives a fantastic performance. It’s an amazing film which flows between comedy and drama effortlessly.

If you are looking for something funny, emotional, heart-warming, realistic and sweet to watch, then 50/50 is definitely the film for you.

Drive


Genre: Crime, Drama

A mysterious Hollywood stuntman and mechanic moonlights as a getaway driver and finds himself in trouble when he helps out his neighbor. Drive is a visually stunning film, excellently directed by Nicolas Winding Refn. This is pretty much a must-see film with an amazing soundtrack and a talented cast.

If you are in the mood for something violent, gripping, character-driven, thrilling and unique make sure to watch Drive this weekend.
