Buried

Genre: Drama, Mystery, Thriller

Paul a U.S. truck driver working in Iraq, finds himself buried alive inside a coffin. With only a lighter and a cell phone it’s a race against time to escape this claustrophobic death trap. For a film that focuses on one character in a coffin throughout, Buried still does a good job of making the viewer feel intense. With a solid performance from Ryan Reynolds & a strong ending, Buried is worthwhile.

Gone Girl

Requiem For A Dream

The drug-induced utopias of four Coney Island people are shattered when their addictions run deep. A really good film with great cinematography and strong direction, Requiem For A dream shows the lives of 4 different people in such an interesting way that no matter how disturbing it gets you still want to watch.

The Siege Of Jadotville


Genre: Action, Drama

Irish Commandant Pat Quinlan leads a stand off with troops against French and Belgian Mercenaries in the Congo during the early 1960s. Based on a true story, The Siege Of Jadotville is an engaging action-packed movie, with well-shot, gripping battle scenes and a interesting story about war and politics.

  2. Great call on Gone Girl and Requiem for a Dream. Both are magnificent. I personally didn’t like An Education, but I know many do, so it’s still a good recommendation. Thanks for the reminder on Buried. I keep meaning to watch it, but never do. Haven’t heard of the last movie, thank you for putting it on my radar.
